Quote from OHSLA Commissioner Dan Badders about the weekend:

" 2013 State Championship games were a smashing success, that reflects well upon the entire league and the coaches and players of Beaverton, Jesuit, West Linn, and Lakeridge.  The attendance totals for these three games, set a new record.  The lacrosse played was exciting and the weather for the final game was perfect.  My compliments to all the coaches and players involved, with special note to Curt Sheinin and his Lakeridge Pacer team...the 2013 state champions."

"The continuing success of lacrosse in Oregon, is also due to the many parents/people who volunteer hours of time and focused effort to make it all happen.  Audra and Bob Smith and the 110+ Tigard High School volunteers, who made the state championship facilities possible, are at the top of the list to be acknowledged.  Simply an outstanding team effort on their part.  I also want to recognize the efforts of OHSLA Assistant Commissioners Brian Fritz, Lisa Hockman, Rick Gruen, and Mike Kelley for the countless hours they have devoted to make the season and the state playoffs happen."
