Second Quarter

West Linn started with two goals from Jacob Taylor to take a two goal lead.  Despite West Linn's dominance of possession and losing All-American Joel Schwarz for most of the quarter due to illness, the Lakeridge defense held tough and the score remained 4-2 until a little over two minutes remained in the half.  Then Mitchell Johnson and Dylan Tuor scored two goals within thirty seconds for West Linn to open the game up.  Aided 10-1 domination at the face-off X and 5 extra ground balls the Lions controlled possession over the course of the first half. It appeared that Lakeridge had been worn down, but Holden Catlett scored with a little over a minute left to give Lakeridge some momentum before the half.

Third Quarter

Thanks to some untimely unforced turnovers, Lakeridge was unable to turn the tide as they did against Sunset in the Semis, and West Linn scored first to to take a four goal lead at 7-3.  Lakeridge countered with a goal from Griffin Catlett make it 7-4 with a little over 7min left in the quarter.  However West Linn's continued dominance on ground balls as well as face-offs allowed them to keep possession and they scored back to back, deja-vu goals off cross crease feeds from Ryan Klose to Jacob Taylor less than a minute apart to make it 9-4.  The quarter ended at 9-4.

Fourth Quarter

The teams traded possessions with no goals until Griffin Catlett scored with a little over 8min remaining to make it 9-5.  West Linn then milked the clock for a few minutes and Eli Gaunt scored to return the lead to 5 goals with just under 6min left.  scored with four minutes left, Lakeridge was able to get the ball back but couldn't put it in the goal and West Linn got possession to run out the clock.
