First Quarter

Sunset started off the scoring with a goal from Tillman Gallagher a little over 2min into the game.  Sunset won the ensuing face-off but was unable to hold on to the ball and, after a nearly 4min OES possession, Jack Morissette scoreed on a rebound to tie the game.  Sunset again won the ensuing face-off but Jack Schlendorf stopped a Leonard shot and after a few exchanges of possession, OES was able to hold on for the last shot in the quarter and Alex Slusher scored as time expired to give OES a 2-1 lead.

Second Quarter

Sunset ties it 2min into 2nd quarter with a goal by Callum Craig.  Teams exchanged possessions for a few minutes and then Nick Lund scored off a clearing pass after a quick restart from a a Sunset failure to advance call, putting OES back in the lead.  A few minutes later Lund socres again for OES to maker 4-2 OES. Sunset tied it up on a goal by Callum Craig with a little over a minute left in the quarter off a freak deflection.  The quarter ended with OES up 4-3 at halftime.

Third Quarter

OES started quickly with a goal from Slusher dodging from up top a little over a minute in.  The teams played evenly for a few minutes until Slusher scored again on the same midfield rollback move to make it 6-3 OES.  Tillman Gallagher countered with a Time & Room step down to make it 6-4 OES, but OES cam back with a man-up goal from Slusher to make it 7-4.  Tim Malueg then scored directly off the ensuing face-off to make it 8-4 OES which was the score at the end of the quarter.

Fourth Quarter

Sunset began a comeback with a goal from freshamanCalder Gallagher, followed by a goal by fellow freshman Callum Craig on an alley dodge rollback, to bring Sunset within two at 8-6 OES.  But OES keeper Jack Schlendorf was able to make several key stops and Nick Lund scored for OES with 2min left and then OES was able to hold off Sunset for the 9-6 win.
