MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL Mt. View High School Boys lacrosse program has an opening for the 2011 season for a Head Coach. The program will be in its second year with a varsity team. WESTVIEW HIGH SCHOOL Westview High School Boys Lacrosse Club is looking for an experienced coach to lead the program and serve as Head Varsity Coach. Located in the suburbs of Portland, Westview is an Oregon 6A school with a strong athletic and academic tradition. Our lacrosse program is a member of the highly competitive Metro League. Westview Lacrosse is entering its 9th season and is expecting over 50 players in 2011 including 14 returning varsity players. We are looking for a coach who shares our vision of player development, on and off the field success, and exemplary sportsmanship. Our Board of Directors manages the club’s administrative needs including securing fields and raising funds which allows our coaching staff to focus on building a winning team. Qualified candidates must possess leadership and motivational skills, a knowledge and passion for the game, and an ability to work in partnership with other coaches. The regular season begins in mid-February with games scheduled through mid-May and playoffs into early June. Coaches are expected at all practices (5 evenings per week) and all games, and must dedicate sufficient time for effective team organization. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. WILSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL Wilsonville High School is in search of a JV offensive coordinator and
a JV 2 Head Coach for the 2011 season. We are a 5A school with a top 10 team in the state that returns all of our paid coaches from the 2010 season. In 2010 our team had 2 Academic All Americans, 3 All State Players, 12 All Conference players and most importantly 16 Varsity honor roll receipients (more than 66% of our roster). Our district recognizes lacrosse as an official school sport and we have access to the school's weight room, team room, film room, buses, etc. We play our home games in Randall Stadium on campus which is one of the finest facilities in the state. The program is entering its 7th year, has a great combination of senior leadership and young players and is on the verge of climbing to the next level in years to come. We also have a feeder program with over 150 kids enrolled. SUNSET HIGH SCHOOL Come join the winning coaching team at Sunset Lacrosse! Boasting one of the largest men’s high school programs in the state, Sunset’s varsity team won the competitive Metro League Championship again in 2010 and played for the state Championship title. In 2010, we had 3 All Americans, 3 Academic All Americans, 5 All State First Team Players and 8 All Conference Players. Managed by a board of volunteers, Sunset Lacrosse enjoys exceptional support from parents, school administration and the community. Small squad sizes and low player/coach ratios maximize player potential, while a strong belief in aggressive game scheduling keeps players challenged. The Sunset High School Lacrosse Club is seeking 2 JV assistant coaches for the 2011 men’s JV lacrosse program.
